I just confirmed a return to perform as part of Vevay First Friday this year. I’ll be there on September 2, playing at one of the outdoor locations from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.
Vevay, ind., is a delightful town on the banks of the Ohio River. Every first Friday the merchants stay open late, and the town comes to life with shopping, dining and live entertainment. If you go down to the river you can see the towers that mark the river’s crest in the 1937 flood.
I hope you’ll consider kicking off your Labor Day weekend with a visit to Vevay.

Then after Vevay First Friday, it will be up to Metamora, Ind., for the Old Time Music Festival, where I’ll be on stage and will also give a demonstration of thumbpicking guitar. Fred Kelly speed picks will be available for those who don’t have their own.
