Guitar Center had a preferred customer sale this morning. The ironic thing was that they sent the invitation to Debbie. So in a reversal of our usual roles, I chaperoned her. Turns out they were doing a pretty good discount on acoustic guitars, and I’d been in the market for a new guitar to use at gigs.
I came home with a new addition to the family, a Taylor 214ce. I’m happy with the purchase. It was right in the ballpark I was looking at, and the discount made it a good deal. So I think she’ll get her first public performance with the worship band in the morning.

Oh, and Debbie did not come away empty-handed. She got a set of seven Hohner harmonicas with a nice case. I’ll see if I can talk her into doing a video with me so that she can show off her new toys, too!
