Over a span of more than 20 years, Dean has released six albums. His most recent release, Smiles – Live from Red Barn Radio, is his first live album. His recording career spans a host of musical influences.

Smiles – Live from Red Barn Radio (2017)

Dean has made three appearances on the Red Barn Radio program. The first was in 2012, shortly after the release of Picking the Faith. In 2016, he was part of the cast for Red Barn’s Appalachian Christmas program, and he appeared with One Lane Bridge on the April 1, 2017, broadcast. From those last two appearances, working with Red Barn executive producer Ed Commons, he released this set of live recordings from the program.

Mountain Roads (2016) with Brian Keith Wallen

Dean teamed up with Brian Keith Wallen for the seven tracks of acoustic blues, bluegrass, and gospel included on Mountain Roads. The album is a spontaneous recording. Dean and Brian went to a Denver studio with just a couple of projects in mind. Once they had those two songs completed, they just kept playing. As a result, the album has a living room or front porch feel.
