Tenn Street Coffee and Books

Special places. The places where memories happen. I’ve found a few over the years. The Shaker Village at Pleasant Hill, Ky., is one. The Methodist Church in Metamora, Ind., is another. Here in Denver, Tenn Street Coffee and Books is making its way onto the list.

I’ve had the privilege of playing a few Saturday mornings at Tenn Street, but the real magic has happened at the cowboy country jam that meets two Tuesdays a month. I’ve met some great pickers and all around good folks there. Last Tuesday had a little extra butter on the toast. If you want a taste of what it was like, here are a few video clips.

I return to Tenn Street on Saturday morning, April 30, and I’ll be playing from 10 until noon. If it’s warm, I’ll be on the patio. If it snows, I’ll be inside. Colorado in April, it could go either way!
